Local singer/songwriter in the contemporary folk genre, playing both guitar and ukulele. Emily writes songs about local history and life in general. Emily is currently recording her debut EP featuring Jody McKenna and Blair Dunlop. Emily herself features on Jody McKenna’s latest album Eastbound, has played regional festivals and has supported international artists such as Blair Dunlop, Emma Stevens, Holloway Road and Duke Special. Emily was commissioned by ‘Walk The Plank’ to write the music for ‘River People’ which featured in ‘Voices of Freedom’ the main opening event of the Hull Freedom Festival 2015. Emily has also played live on Radio stations in the last year.
