Starsailor burst onto the scene in 2001 with their single ‘Fever’ earning them the title of “Britain’s best new band”.
Formed at Wigan and Leigh Music College, Starsailor’s initial run of success saw both their debut album ‘Love is Here’ and the 2003 follow-up ‘Silence is Easy’ hit #2 on the UK charts as they raced to a total of 3 million sales.
The band are undoubtedly a national treasure and James Walsh one of the UK’s finest vocalists and melodians. A rare blend of northern swagger and intricate melodies and insightful and introspective lyrics.
Having recently marked their 20th anniversary year, the band celebrated with a 15-date UK tour.
