St Mary's Church – 7.30pm
Emma has been performing and recording with her band The Happy Endings since 2004 but more recently embarked on a solo venture. She released her self-titled EP in 2012, followed by the well-received album “Too Busy Watching Invisible Things” in 2014. Her latest EP “The Anachronist” showed a more piano based, sombre side although she normally performs her shows on acoustic guitar.
Emma’s songs are melodic, heartfelt and authentic, drawing lyrical inspiration from personal experiences and observations and musical influence coming from bands such as The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, The Band, Feist and Bright Eyes. A firm favourite on BBC Introducing, Emma’s tracks have been featured as “Track Of The Week” on a few occasions. She is currently recording a new album due for release 2025.
